AYAMONTE

There are many restaurants in Ayamonte most serving traditional Spanish food including tapas.

Along the road opposite the Marina are a number of excellent places to eat including a Pizza restaurant – towards the end where the road turns along the river.

ISLA CANELA

This Australian restaurant has a great position on the corner over looking the Isla Canela marina. Very friendly and good food (2007)

Outback Inn

PORTUGAL

Beware of the hour time difference but a short drive across the bridge to Portugal open up a whole new area of restaurants to explore.

For a great meal and good price the Mars Bar in Manta Rota (about 20 minutes drive) is a great choice. Just up from the beach it looks more like a beach bar but the owners are extremely friendly, if somewhat eccentric at times, and the food is excellent and great value. The chicken kebabs and foot long hotdogs are great favourites.
